You asked for five maintenance items on ctfamalaysia.org. After studying the site, we recommend a revamp instead: the same five items, delivered on a fresh, secure WordPress, with a searchable member directory as the centrepiece.
The five items you listed, and where each one is answered in this proposal.
Update WordPress
Add a WhatsApp button
“Events & Updates” in the mega menu, with 3 submenus under Updates
Move “Contact Us” from the menu to the footer
Revamp the Registered Members page
We reviewed every public page, the posts archive and the media library on 16 October 2026. The content is strong: a clear vision, five objectives, a real member list and six years of regulatory updates. The opportunity is in how it is presented and maintained.
Each of the 85 names has a “+” toggle, but nothing appears when it is opened. There is no search, logo, website link or category.
Searchable directory with profiles (section 05)The About text says “88 companies”; the members page and the Become a Member page say 85.
One count, calculated from the directory itself/events loads the homepage, and the “Upcoming Events” slide still shows the AGM of 11 March 2020.
A proper Events page with upcoming and past eventsCirculars from NPRA and MOH, meeting minutes and seminar photos sit in one list, so members cannot browse by type.
Sorted into the three Updates submenusAbout 40 fields and five file uploads (Code of Conduct, Form 9, 24, 49, brochures) on a single page.
Four short steps, files stored privately in the adminWordPress 5.3 and an older theme version no longer receive regular updates. The /acd page shows “Under Maintenance” and the footer reads © 2014.
Current software, security hardening, care planCTFA’s counterparts in Europe, the UK, the US and Australia all treat the member list as a key page. Three patterns repeat.
Members listed by type, with a full list you can filter by country.
Members list grouped by membership category, beside a clear “How to join” route.
Public list of company names; full directory details for logged-in members only.
Around 100 members, split into consumer/cosmetic and commercial/specialty groups.
Search and simple filters, not a long scroll.
Company name, logo and website are public; contact persons are for members only.
Every member page ends with a clear path to apply.
The page you want revamped, and the one that shows the strength of the association. Here is what changes.
The new look is not a reskin of today’s site. We studied how CTFA’s peers and its members’ parent companies present themselves, took one idea from each, and built an original CTFA design around your logo.

We take: A search bar right under the hero, so visitors can look things up straight away.
Hero search
We take: A calm statement headline beside one strong visual, and topic tags on every news item.
Hero headline · update tags
We take: Quick routes in the first screen: who we are, our members, how to join.
Hero quick links
We take: A friendly line-icon set of cosmetic products that softens a policy-heavy site.
Hero pattern · Why join icons
We take: A row of brand logos that shows the size of the family at a glance.
Member wall · logo ribbon
We take: One bold colour band that makes the news section stand out.
Coral “Latest from CTFA” bandThe coral of the current CTFA logo leads. The maroon of the earlier CTFA logo returns as a deep accent for members-only areas, keeping a link to the association’s history.

CTFA works to promote trust and confidence in the personal care industry and to ensure that regulations are competitive and internationally harmonized.

Same words, two typefaces. Both proposed fonts are free Google Fonts, sharp on phones, and easy to read at the small sizes a member directory needs.
Try it. Each tile is one of your 85 registered members, using the real list from your site. Type a name or pick a letter, and the directory narrows instantly. On the live site the tiles become logo cards.
